This listing is for 1 grafted on Rare Seedling El Bumpo Cherimoya Tree, App 35", similar to or as the picture showing. It is a seedling tree and has very strong sooting system. It will grow very fast and expected to produce the same fruits as the parent tree. As the trees keep growing, the one you receive may bigger than it is. In order to fix the shipping package, the top of the tree may be trimmed off. El Bumpo Cherimoya is a green and bumpy cherimoya variety which is considered as a “fruit that tastes heaven” along with the other cherimoya varieties. The El Bumpo tree produces large fruits that have incredible and creamy taste. This is among the 15 cherimoya varieties included in the tasting taste held at UC South Coast Research and Extension Center attended by UC Master Gardeners and members of California Rare Fruit Growers. In Los Angles area, this variety blossoms from May to end of June, self-pollination but with hand pollination, it will make more fruits and beautiful shapes, harvesting during late fall from Oct to Dec. Fruits are very large; some as big as more than one pound. The seeds are smaller than those of other variety, fruit meat is white, cream, sweet and taste very good. It will grow in tropical and sub-tropical zone. If you are looking for a cherimoya tree to plant in your garden, this variety will be your first choice.
