The Dodgers have made it official with Japanese star pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, announcing they've agreed to terms on a 12-year contract. The contract is expected to pay the right-hander $325 million, the richest deal for a pitcher in Major League Baseball. Excluding, of course, his new teammate Shohei Ohtani whose talent as a batter played a big role in his own massive 10-year, $700 million deal. The 25-year-old Yamamoto has won three consecutive MVP awards and Sawamura Awards -- Nippon Professional Baseball's equivalent of the Cy Young.
