This extra slim (XS D) v3.0 motherboard provides 128MB SDR SDRAM memory for cores requiring large (>512KB) memory, including for Neo Geo cores. While for has built in DDR3 , it has high latency and is not suitable for the timings required by retro EDO DRAM. Therefore, if the core requires memory timing, the onboard DDR3 cannot be used. Every 128MB SDRAM extra slim (XS D) v3.0 board has been tested at 130 MHz for over an hour using the for MemTest Utility (126MHz is the fastest speed currently required for any core). Each memory module was then soak tested using for Jotego\'s 48MHz and 96MHz SDRAM test cores. Finally, live testing with for Neo Geo cores, for Acorn Archimedes (Archie) cores, for MEGA CD cores, and for Neo Geo games, including for Metal Slug 3 and for Bad Neo Geo demos, require 128MB modules to play, these extensive tests to ensure that there are no issues.
