3M Venture Tape Metal Building Facing Tape 1531CW is a film/scrim/kraft faced tape designed for vapor seal applications, including Lamtec WMP-10 faced insulation. Flexible and durable, this 7 mil tri-directionally reinforced tape conforms well to irregular surfaces and curves while offering excellent resistance to weather, UV and environmental conditions. Plus, it offers good puncture and tear resistance. This easy-to-use, white-colored tape requires no special tools or application methods and adheres on contact to a variety of substrates, including metal. Designed with acrylic adhesive that performs well in sub-zero to tropical temperatures, it performs in temperature ranges of -40 °F/-40 °C to 185 °F/85 °C. From cold to hot conditions, this adhesive offers consistent reliability. The 2.83 in tape is UL723 Classified (0/5 Flame/Smoke Rating). This facing meets ASTM C1136 type II and IV.
